I've known Amber since she was about 10 or so. She is my daughter's best friend and a friend of mine too. Both families moved into the same subdivision about the same time and they became fast friends. Amber used to bring me daffodils sometimes when she came to visit Tonia. Little did I know she picked them from the neighbors yard. No harm done. They still have daffodils and I have sweet memories. Amber has always been a beutiful child inside and out and still is. I know she'll make a wonderful mom. I don't know Xiang Yu very well but I know that if Amber loves him, he must be a wonderful man and will make a wonderful father too.
We met while we were both stationed in Korea. We met because of a mutual friend Brit...but we started hanging out more because I used to come down to her office for work. From there, she's become an important person in mine and my daughter's life. She introduced us to her husband when he visited once in Korea. And then there was the time my dad, daughter, and I visited them in Taiwan. Amber created a great itinerary for us. Xian Yu introduced us to his IP and drove us around. Aurora loves her Uncle Xian Yu and Aunty Amber. We were so sad we couldn't make the wedding...but we will be back in Taiwan soon!
This is Ambers mom - I am so proud to be Ambers mom - and I must say, I am as proud to be Xiang yus mother in law - I know in my heart the 2 love each other very much! And I know that there wont be another child loved as much as Logan will - and others who may come. . . .

Amber and I have been there for each other through so much. Even though we are a 'world' apart I know that anytime I need my best friend to listen she will always be here for me - no matter the time. I could talk and talk for days......Amber I am so proud to call you my best friend. I am so excited to meet baby Logan! So, so happy for you and XiangYu!! Miss you tons. I love you!
